Our Sizing

Canyon Moon Studio patterns are available in two size ranges, Canyon and Moon.

The Canyon size range (A-H) is roughly equivalent to a traditional straight size range and the Moon size (F-O) range is drafted for plus sizes. Both ranges are drafted for a figure with larger hips and a proportionally smaller chest, but the Moon range also accommodates a proportionally larger waist measurement.

Both the Canyon and Moon size ranges are drafted for a full chest measurement that is 3” larger than the upper chest measurement (also known as a sewing C cup). All patterns are drafted for a short waisted person that is 5’7”/ 170 cm tall.

The fit models used for pattern development are size D and J.
